![]() I think GOG should rather concentrate on getting more semi-new AAA games and old classisc to the store, I will pay them real money for them.Īlso, based on Youtube, the game could possibly get some people angry with its controversial setting. They are available elsewhere on the internets for anyone who wants to play them. ![]() but I still think it probably doesn't make sense for GOG to host those two games. Yeah, I can also think of several very good freeware games, like the Wizball remake or the Marble Madness remake (I really should reinstall those two games, they are great!). Since they are free, they could cause GOG mainly just extra expenses, not any extra profit (unless there really were some people who create an account to GOG just for those freeware games, and later buys also other GOG games).Īlso, GOG would have to try to seek out the authors of the freeware games to get a permission to host the game on GOG, and at that point the authors would probably go "Oh yeah? So what's in it for me then? Just because it is free doesn't necessarily mean it is free, youknows?". Whether it makes sense for GOG to host such freeware games, that's another question. The internets is full of freeware games, some of them good, some of them bad, some of them something in between.
